I think I'm allowed to post this? Its art work for an album cover, front and back.

The band were really nice, but I think they didn't want to go with this in the end, they wanted a background and I said the backgrounds weren't working. Then they pretty much pulled the project, made me grayscale it and do a few changes based on an old sketch I did ages ago. So a bit of a strange step backwards, and a bit of the shame really, I thought it was looking pretty swish, and the text would of fit it really well.

I may have to take this down at some point, but its pretty different to the thing I had to hand in, so hopefully it will be ok.

Unfortunately as an artist, you have to basically work to whatever the client wants, even if that does mean going against your better judgement sometimes.

cool man! they did really like the artwork, just not the colours and certain aspects of it, so I think they are having a think about where to take it.

They should take some client commissioned work themselves. Only after acceding to crappy decisions for a while does one understand to trust the artist. Nice work, by the way.
